That's what I thought too. I owned Shark vacuums and they worked fine. But the new Dyson V11 Torque is fantastic. Expensive and overpriced, but it works great on both rugs and hardwood. Battery...

My V6 does the same intermittently. I assume it has something to do with the HEPA filter on the back but I have no idea. Hopefully it’s not a sign it’s dying.

Does the shark filter get dirty as fast as the dyson from your experience. I just bought a shark apex duo clean and the filter got dirty so fast considered to my Dyson DC25 or DC14 which I’ve never...

Found out my warranty expired one year ago. We so have a service center within 30mins. Wonder how much it costs... Otherwise I might just end up buying this v10/v11... Sigh so expensive

Check to see if you have a Dyson service center in your area. If so you should be able to just drop it off there.

From what I understand, the V11 is in a class above all other cordless models. I think the pricing will become more reasonable once competition catches up.

I have tried it online and called. Online it says "item is already discounted and no discounts will apply". Store said same thing.

Overpriced, get a Tineco instead. Comes with two batteries and actually has a usable runtime on high.

I would guess it's a secondary $500 vacuum if you are anticipating many years of use. Does the set come with two batteries?

A modern lithium. Cobalt high draw battery like this and power tools should last over 500 cycles unless you drain it completely to dead then less and also at the point you can expect significant loss...

Agreed. I have 60% hardwood/30% carpet/10% area rug and it goes between them seamlessly. I’ve had the v6 and v8 absolute and don’t feel like I need the fluffy head. In fact, I kept my v8 fluffy head...

How long does the battery last? Is there a warranty on it? I did not see a replacement battery available for sale on Dyson.com, so no idea how much it would cost to the replace it

My v6 is making a high whining sound now. Just happened recently after using it daily for 2+ years. Maybe the motor is going .... $350 for 2 years is not my cup of tea.
