The lowest model with the screw on brush head uses NiMH battery while the higher models uses Li-Ion batteries. I looked into the difference between this Costco Sonicare vs the 5100 model on the...

Bought it in store today. Replacement toothbrushes are kind of steep, 6 for $49.99.

You can literally defecate on the entire toothbrush and Costco will still take it back.

Which is why you wait for a deal on heads, too :)

Good to know, thanks for the info. Worse comes I'll use these brush heads to clean the kitchen, beats manual labor. :lmao:

What exactly is better about the higher end toothbrushes? I also just recently picked up a diamondcare to test both. The only difference I'm seeing is the extra "modes" the diamond care has and I...

I bought it in store yesterday and did not get this discount. Can I go back and get it back or do I need to return and rebuy. I unfortunately started to use one.

5000 is between 4100 (one mode) and 5100 (three modes). And it is no longer produced, which is why it is discounted.

sonicare is the better brush imo. The two I’ve had worked for 4-5 years without any problems.

Not too much of a difference. The extra setting is for a deeper clean vs regular. Also, the battery life is supposed to be slightly improved on the higher model. Honestly, probably not a big deal...

I just upgraded to this Costco Sonicare model from a 12 year old Oral-B electric toothbrush (that still works perfectly fine) and I can never go back. It's amazing.

Picked this up and I’m actually impressed. I’m combating gum recession from brushing too hard (how is that even a thing) and this stops me from doing that with the pressure sensor. So far so good.

Aliexpress has very cheap replacement brushes. I've bought a pack of 4 brushes for less than $2, and the quality of the brush is similar to the originals. Try it, worst case is you don't like them...

Costco is selling the 5000 version which is really just the sonicare 4000 series. 5100 series is a different toothbrush. It’s a good deal, but don’t think you’re getting the higher end toothbrush.
