If you read reviews and tests no it does not worth it. Lots of complaints about app and function.
You are better off getting a wifi plug so you can turn on/off from your phone.

I own the 400S and purchased the 400 for my mother. I would recommend the 400S over the 400 for the ability to schedule. Yes the app isn't the best and it's slow to load but it works well enough...

1560 sq ft on this unit is a bit misleading. if you read details it says 2 air changes per our. Mostly all units advertise 4 to 5 air changes per hour. Be careful when you are comparing.

Not really. You'd need one on both floors. If you close doors to rooms, it can't filter them.

The AirMega 200 is good for 2x exchange for 361 Sq ft, or 4x exchange for 361 sq ft with two. The 400 is good for 780 sq ft exchanged 4x, or exchange 8x at 390 Sq ft.
