As pointed out to me, the reviews on the 1600 watt PSU were terrible. I chatted with them and had it switched to a 750 watt Corsair with a 7 year warranty for the same $$$.

I got my computer and can't get a monitor to work with it. No signal detected... Anyone else have this problem? I tried all the display port plugs on the computer.

Good deal for a prebuilt. The CPU and video card are worth over 800 alone and that CPU is a beast.

They are roughly equivalent if it's the regular 2080. Some titles will do better in one, some on the other. If you know how I'd build it the way you want tbh. Especially if you have parts already....

my stock cooler floats around 30-60 depending on what I play or use it for. should I stop stressing and checking the temps all the time? as long as it's not over 60-65 I'm fine right?
Post #135013061 added 02-17-2020 12:24 PM by tpaten in Deal Talk
That's well under anything to be concerned about. I'd be a little concerned once I pass about 80°C. The limit is 95. You sound like you're in good shape.

Ryzen 3000 is designed to scale with cooling. Your boost clocks will go up with a better cooler. The lower the temps, the higher the safe voltage, and the more voltage and higher clocks the algorithm...

65 is nothing. These things are built to function up to almost triple digit temps. My most demanding games (VR) usually go up to around 75

You have a 5700 not a 5700xt in your build post, it's going to be 80-100 more.

How does this PC compare to this?: https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/533969 Basically weighing the pros of (3900X & RX 5700 XT) vs (2700x & 2070 Super).

I bet there were more nvidia users having AMD driver issues than AMD users in that poll! lol There are way more nvidia users out there which means more fanboys and they will skew the results.
