I don't know if this will work the same as the cell phone offer ($5 back on $100+, up to 4x), but I bought a phone for $457.xx, paid the full amount in one transaction, rec'd $20 AMEX bill credit.

Chase still has 5% this quarter on phone, internet, cable bills. So if you pay over $100/month, that's a better reward.
After March, can switch to amex to reap the $5 benefit.

No doubt! Never had a problem with Amex offers I always get them right away. This one is a bit hokey because it's only $5/bill but it's still free money.
