I feel that you're better off just buying some 18650 or similar solution. You can get a much smaller profile and more powerful beams.

750 lumens is very dim for such a massive light. You can get mini-mag sized LED flashlights with double the lumens for less than $40.

If you don’t own a flat bottomed M12 battery, then yes, you’ll have to hold it. Anything larger than a 2.0ah battery will allow the flashlight to be set upright on a flat surface.
