Shun Premier is VG-Max and something like 61 HRC. I've heard of chipping, but denting is the first I've ever heard. What are you doing to your knives that you can dent them?

Can you post some pictures? As many have said, these are HRC 61, which means it shouldnt dent unless you are banging it on some other hard steel. Are you sure you’re not mistaking the hammered steel...

Not bad, my biggest complaint is how easily the knives dent. I’ve already ruined mine from normal use. It’s super sharpe sure, but durability is questionable.
