Yes, because 24 oz. of italian seasoning would fill a gallon container. This 6oz container looks like it's the same volume as the taco seasoning one.

Corn meal is an important ingredient in thickening the meat and seasoning together. You add a bit of water with this once the meat is done and it makes a really nice, tasty taco meat.
