Putting a postpaid SIM into some other Verizon prepaid phones (notably the Moto E4) would get the account locked and require a call to customer service to unlock it. That might well be forever! not...

The person you quoted said it won't get updates "post current iOS 13". Meaning it does get iOS 13, but not iOS 14 or later.

iOS 13 does not support iPhone 6 or older last year. Then this year iOS 14 very likely will not support iPhone 6s or older.

Just went to Target and one has a att sim card and another one has no att sim card and the guy said he can only sell the one with sim card so was he bluffing? He said it is locked (no sim card one).

Where did you get the info. on no more updates post iOS 13? Apple hasn’t even introduced iOS 14 yet or which devices will be supported. If 6s is supported than this phone will also be supported.
