Buy a 1440p monitor if you can afford it. I have a two 27" 1440p and 1080p gaming monitors side by side. Running the 1440p monitor in 1080p looks just as good as the 1080p native monitor in games...

I know that bit. What I am saying is that, PS5 and new XBox will use AMD card and supports Fresync as per news, so I will prefer Freesync over GSync if that is the intended use case for this monitor.
