Not the set but the type of pans included in this set of the D5 are my work horses. The bigger sets come with a smaller pan and a giant pot that rarely gets used.

I threw away all my nonstick pots and pans besides one small one for eggs. I only kept the all clad because it’s been amazing and nothing comes off or gets scratched and goes into your food!

For fried eggs just use a nonstick pan unless you like it swimming in oil. For searing meats get a carbon steel or cast iron. Both will heat up faster and hotter than stainless steel.

The handle issue...this is how I adapted. Hold handle with three fingers under, thumb on top, and outer wrist bone sits in the top part of handle near the wide end. Try it out.
