Thanks for the heads up. I did it just now. Doesn't save much for me since I usually wait for the sale on the annual sub but 14 bucks is better than nothing.

FYI this isn’t something new. Last time I canceled during the Black Friday deal they did this. I think it’s standard subscriber retention.
