This is a pretty good deal for NIB, but keep in mind this camera is almost 5 years old at this point. Still, if this is all anyone honestly needs, can't go wrong with this kit for $500.

Where did you get that info? Sensor size has nothing to do with bokeh. It's caused by the lens and has to do with depth of field. Shallow depth of field, the out of focus area with subject in focus...

M50 has IS while G7 does not. The autofocus is also better on the M50. Those are the two main reasons why people prefer the M50 over the G7.
