IMO water resistance in shoes like this doesn't really make sense. Once the water begins to get into the shoe (which it will because the shoe is at your ankle..) then the gtx membrance will just keep...

This ATR is not water resistant like the ATR Guard. Especially the top area. Still a very good price and both are very good looking colorway. FYI. Its a bit tight fitted.
