Thanks, I did not know batteries were covered for Rigid. I'm really starting to like the idea of buying Rigid Factory Blemish over Preowned for the warranty. My dewalt lithium battiers already need...

Right, one good thing about ridgid is the batteries are covered for free replacement if they go bad ever, but of course newer and newer tech comes out to lure you to upgrade anyway. I'll have my base...

Ridgid offers lifetime battery replacements as long as you register them. If it dies, call them, they will ship a new one, register it once you receive it.

For many brands, that is true, however with Ridgid, the batteries (if purchased in a kit) come with a lifetime replacement policy. While this may or may not be valid after an inevitable platform...

I personally do not buy battery based tools for DIY projects unless I need ultra portability. Its buying planned obsolescence because batteries die and in the future the interface/technology will...

I was about to buy this then saw the estimated 40 minute runtime on a 4ah battery. I'm not sure if that's good, bad, sufficient? I was looking at Bosch ros20vsc corded model when this deal came...

IMO a table-based tile saw will make your job much easier, unless you'll be using floor-size tiles for your backsplash. That's the "random" part. They all do this to keep from carving...

You can get a corded one for ~$25. Look at skil, ryobi, B&D, etc. These small orbitals are only good for light sanding jobs, anyway, not like a larger belt sander.

You don't need to spend a hundred. My Bosch corded unit works great and was $50 on sale at Lowe's. If I didn't already have a decent sander id give this a shot though.

I have this one, bought new at Home Depot. If you use 4amp battery, it’s as good as the corded version.
