6 core is already plenty for most cases and they’re both within the same thermal envelope. Max of 25% faster for the 8 core. Not really a game changer. Same amount of ram so no difference in Chrome....

If you aren't in a hurry, then yes sure. If you have to have one now, this is good deal imho.
