This deal is expired. This is only available on Northern Tool now. Why aren't mods flagging it?

The stubby is less than half as powerful as this model. I have a bunch of M12 tools but I'm going with an m18 for an impact wrench.

I bought this model in September of 2019 on sale at Home Depot for the same price (which is an excellent deal) and have no regrets. It's compact and powerful and I can use it so many more places I...

Is this deal dead? I’m not seeing the battery in my cart when I add the tool.

Couldn't get the deal.

I'm a heavy machinery diesel mechanic. High torque is not meant for passenger vehicles. The mid torque hardly gets used on vehicles, fbe low torque gets used 90% of the time. The high torque I use...

I have the high torque model and I suggest you get that one. You can find them on eBay for around this price w/o the battery but believe me you won't regret it. I've had some nuts that were hard to...

This mid-torque is a lot more compact than the high torque one, and can handle most, but not all automotive applications. Not sure if this is a great price though

Why not get the high torque model and the m12 stubby for everything else?

New to these types of power tools (just had a basic Black and Decker 20V drill), but I got the Ryobi 18V one+ deal yesterday. I wanted something to take off wheel lug bolts/nuts for basic car...

I live in the rust belt, so it's probably a bit different, but I certainly think the high torque is worth it if you're really working on cars. Like you said though, it is bulky, mostly in weight. I...

That’s what I did. The stubby is gonna take care of 90% of everything and is sooooo light and compact.

Biggest reason is cost. If money is no object then sure get them all. Personally the mid does everything I need and I have zero use for the stubby at all. So I saved a bundle.

Great tool - and Milwaukee is the best (IMO - and many others' opinions.) Northerntool has had the same deal for at least a month - I bought it in March (says it's back-ordered now, but they're...

Ridgid vs Milwaukee all depends if you want to pay the premium for Milwaukee. Performance is usually similar between the two. If you pay the premium you get access to more tools on the same...

Yes without a problem. I have the mid and high torque. The mid torque can handle up to 600 ft-lbs, and your lugs shouldn’t be tightened more than 125 ft-lbs. but even if someone in the shop got...

Impact wrenches (for driving screws etc with 1/4" hex bits) are rated in in/lbs vs ft/lbs that impact drivers are rated for...and just like inches to feet you divide by 12 to covert: The 1800...

It wasn't that long ago that top end 1/2" impacts were topping out at 500ft Lbs. 600 is enough for majority of nuts out there. The MID weighs 36% less than the high torque, 37% shorter and 13%...

I got the Ryobi with a 4 or 5 ah battery, it was a deal for $99 not too long ago. True impact wrench is going to be a big, bulky beast compared to impact drivers. On the other hand, any decent...

I have this and like it very much. Do suspension, braking, lug nuts and more. Haven't run into anything it can't handle. Only thing you may want to skip this for 2767-20 is would be balancer...

Unless you want the whole set, I'd go with the high-torque impact. Yes, it's 7.5 vs 5.3lbs, but there are M12 tools that will fill in the gap, and are lighter that the mid-level impact is. The M12...

One other category you should add to the list: Your tires and/or brakes were worked on by a shop of poorly-trained technicians. A lot of tire and brake places have high school kids who approach...

I'm in California, so minimal rust issues, but the mid-torque model has no issue taking off properly torqued lug nuts on my BMWs. I have yet to run into a situation where it couldn't break loose a...

would more torque help bust the nut?
Post #136624397 added 04-27-2020 6:13 PM by Frdmstang in Deal Talk
I think the mid strikes the right balance of size, weight, and torque to be the go-to for 90% of situations where you need an impact. The 3/8 M12 stubby is the perfect companion to this gun. I own...

Thanks for the reply. I am not invested in Rigid yet and that's why I am wondering about the weight and size. Rigid is way cheaper and can be had with 2 octane batteries for $150 (just not right...

If you're already invested in Ridgid and have octane batteries then I would recommend the octane impact. The combo kit at Home Depot is $150 with a 4ah(non-octane) battery. It's 650ftlbs with the...

Really? Hmm...try lubing them up, that way they arent so stubborn and they bust a lot easier. Trust me with the lube, you'll be busting nuts left and right. Trust me with the lube! TRUST ME WITH IT

600 ft lbs of breaking torque is much MORE than enough to do the lugs on almost any vehicle, so these claims that you need the bigger Milwaukee for lug nuts are a bit wild. That said, TTI owns both...
