Got the EFAX ones as well and it’s going back. A lot of grinding noise from the drives. Shady practices by B&H. Never expected them to be this bad.

I've shucked about 6-7 8TB Easystore and Elements drives. They're all helium filled 5400 Ultrastar He10 series drives. They may not be Reds, but they're certainly better drives than the few 4TB EFRX...

Everything on the page showed this was the WD40EFRX. Delivered today . . . Its the WD40EFAX. which is the SMR drive. Submitted a request to return the drive to B&H, will see what they say.
