Why do you say, "trash cpu"? My "go-to" for evaluating CPUs is checking it's Passmark score, which is 8,076--decent in my book. What am I missing? Thermals? I'm looking to educate myself.

I’ve not used a 9th-gen in a laptop, but undervolting my i7-8750h in my Dell G5-5585 works like a champ. I’d hope undervolting the 9th-gen i5 would make an even bigger difference.
