You probably need something beefier than a reciprocating saw to get through a highway ramp. Good luck!

Got the 8 amp from a previous deal for $139 with a couple of lights. Definitely a kick butt battery. Just trying to figure out if this sawzall has had a better deal in the past.

The 8 amp battery alone sells for $200. Plus you get a 5A battery, charger and the tool. Pretty good deal.

Is this the best deal we’ve seen for this sawzall? Trying to figure out if I should jump on this or wait for a Father’s Day or 4th of July sale.

I don't know why people are down voting questions like if the battery can be returned. Are the batteries returnable?

The one off Hillcroft and BW8. I only saw one on the clearance end cap. I'm not sure if there were any mixed in with the other MIlwaukee tools in the usual aisle.

Super works just fine with a 5.0. And having had both (sold off my non-super, just too big of a performance difference)....put both in use with a 5.0, you’ll see. We sure did.

Buying a pruning blade makes a really big difference for that task. Much wider/deeper tooth spacing that doesn’t gum up so quickly cutting green saplings. I use mine for pruning a lot, with a can of...

It’s not minimal frankly but you make an excellent point. I run my super with the 5.0 batteries for the weight trade off; rarely reach for a 12.0. Most sawzall work can be done with a 5.0

I suppose. But I would say, having run both extensively, that you don’t have to be a pro to end up feeling the difference. Everyone I know has found it to be night and day, from remodels to...

Honestly for all of you saying that you're waiting for a super sawzall deal it might be a year or more before you see something similar (2 batteries + charger + bag) for it. The only reason why they...

Ryobi is the best bang for the buck, but they don't have some tools that Milwaukee does. Milwaukee is more pro stuff and Ryobi is more home owner/light duty. For instance, for 1/2 inch impact...

I'm in the same boat and from my research and watching slick deals, it seems Ryobi is the best bang for the buck.

In reality it's probably all the same. Milwaukee is owned by the same company that owns Ryobi and Dewalt is owned by Stanley/B&D. The best line is probably Hilti and Snapon, but unless you make a...

I think the safest thing is to look at tool availability across lines. Organize them by level of tool (professional, prosumer, occasional DIYer). Figure out which line best meets your current/future...

It's really up to personal preference at this point. And no, you are not locked into one line. There are plenty of battery adapters out there you can buy that will let you use a battery from Dewalt...
