Cutting COUPLE 2x4 with that battery. Don’t expect to rip a whole plywood with it since it binds and weak. I always ended up pulling out my corded skillsaw to finish the rest which makes a Hassle ....

Just fyi for anyone with dead Ryobi batteries, this may be worth a shot. I picked up a dead Ryobi battery from HD’s battery recycling bin and took it apart, since Ryobi charger refused to charge it....

If you are talking about cutting sheet material, jig saw is fine. If you want to rip solid wood, table saw is way better.

not only that, the 1.5ah battery will only run the saw at reduced power. sawzalls, circ saws, etc are dogs with the smaller batteries. they will get the job done if you arent doing anything crazy,...
