Thoughts on buying this with the Walmart protection plan? Between that and Costco Visa - would add 3-5 years potentially of warranty.

I got the v10 the other month. Came to find my vacuum head was defective and no attachments would connect. Annoying. Bought one directly from Dyson for $120 more.

Years ago I would never have guessed they’d be using a car engine to power my vacuum but I’m so glad they figured it out. A very very good deal. Lots of sucking power in this one.

Yes, Deanzoumas, it does. I currently use the DC33 and V8 and the V8 head(s) is fantastic. The bristle/soft fibers head can be removed and cleaned easily (or soaked overnight). I can't recommend this...

Costco visa won’t extend the warranty for refurbished items. I tried once with a brother printer and got denied. So now I’m more inclined to purchase new products so I can get the extra coverage.

V6-V8 require change of battery every 2 years vs V10 is good for 10 years per Dyson. Accounting for that cost, better to spend a bit more for the V10 IMO.

For those unfamiliar with these vacuum refurbs... in my opinion they may work for sure, but you often smell gross odors while vacuuming (usually fades in minutes) and they are often scratched up....
