Does anyone know if these are actually hard drives or is it on board like apple? Want to get this but also need more than 512gb of storage.

I found the spec sheet, apparently I was misinformed. Too good to be true, only 65% sRGB accurate.

Specs looks good. But I never had MSI laptop. Is it good brand?

Nitro can't compare MSI. Asus ROG, and HP Omen. You get what you pay. The cheap laptop will break in 1-3 years.

Tes MSI has reinvented themselves in the past 20 years. Now ALL MSI laptops have great build quality, you maybe overpay but you wont get a bad MSI laptop ever.. Th Modern is the only casual use...

Color accurate is the tough part, the new Zenbook for $700 is the cheapest system I know of that has a dgpu and 72% ntsc. The 14" MSI Modern is the next cheapest at $750-800, I went full circle last...

That laptop doesn't have the same form factor at all.

Is this at least 72% NTSC or 100% sRGB? BestBuy listing unfortunately doesn’t include any such information. I was eying for the AMD Ryzen 7 version of same laptop, this looks like a good deal too.

I'd definitely say the $650 one with the MX330 is the best deal. i7 is not $100 better than the i5, by any means.

Was about to come here and say the same. But if you're going to spend $650 there already have been much better systems for similar cost or less

Do you have any examples? I'm actually considering this, it's hard to find dedicated graphics (even entry level) and a color accurate panel on a laptop this light and sleek at $650. Only thing...

Is Costco warranty an option? Not sure if Squaretrade covers laptops. I have one for TV that I bought from bestbuy and warranty from Costco. Edit: Squaretrade warranty bought at Costco. Not...

The same laptop will also come with ryzen 7 4700u or 4800u.

I like that the 15.6" has no keypad and the track pad is centered under the keyboard and screen.

The price is good. Not trying to nit pick but why would they release new gen laptops with no USB-C ports.
Post #137865416 added 06-09-2020 7:09 PM by UniqueHamster598 in Deal Talk
Apparently MSI has awful longevity, and there's not really any options for a warranty that doesn't drastically pad the price out at Best Buy. I thought I had found the one, oh well.
