This looks good. I switched to the C4000 a month back and have been happy. After Netgear support being such a disaster and their firmware rendering my R7960P unusable I will never go back to Netgear....

Same here. Currently Netgear R7000 and it's ok, but have to reboot once a month (I found out after suddenly losing 5Ghz). I always see hit-and-miss stories on all kinds of brands. I was about to just...

I posted before I read the Amazon reviews on this model and it looks like they’re even worse for this router. I long for the days you could just buy a router, plug it in, and forget that it even...

Link for the netgear you've mentioned? Is your model supported by dd-wrt?

Which router and which firmware are you referring to? Last firmware update for the c5400 v2 was last year.

My ac4000 from Costco has been the most rock solid router and best performing I’ve had. Tried Netgear, DLink, and others. Got tired of rebooting them monthly.

How does this compare to the C4000? Debating if I should return my Costco purchase for this... have 30 mins to decide.
