I just received my order. I can confirm that this charger does indeed have a hole for the 3rd prong. However, upon inspection w/ my flashlight, there doesn't appear to be anything inside that hole...

Yeah, but there are better solutions. More elegant solutions, but more expensive. A DC supply would be much better; there are dedicated CPAP batteries that supply the correct voltage and current....
