Definitely a good reminder. One of the positives of this model is that it's the size of the non-PoE version. The 150W version of the 8-port is substantially larger. 4 PoE ports was perfect for me....

POE is power over ethernet. as mentioned, cameras and access point. meaning, it can use ethernet cable to provide power rather than needing ethernet plus power cable.
