I got one as a gift, it is very light, but sturdy. My only dislike is how low it is and how 4 people can't really eat comfortably on this. But for a setup table outdoors it's fine.

makes sense - just look at the cross supports in the REI vs the Coleman the extra weight doesn't matter anyways, no one is hiking with this. it's collapsible so it doesn't take much room in the car
