You probably won't find any close-out X3600H's. They have been impossible to source new, and even refurbs have been selling for $1000.

I got mine for about $850. The rep's initial reaction to the $837 ask was "shock" but he quickly made a counter offer that was close enough that I didn't want to haggle over the difference....

Got it now for 900 + tax.
I believe I could have spent 10 more minutes negotiating and getting it to 875, but didn't feel the need (as most big stores sell it today for $1200 + tax).
