I paid 1600 for 10700K and 32gb ram 3200 2070 super liquid cool and 1tb ssd for alienware r11. Why it's a better deal than Dell?
Post #138612425 added 07-08-2020 7:31 AM by reicaden in Deal Talk
I disagree, the R10 with 2080 super, 1tb SSD, and 3700x came out to 1310 after coupon, amex, and cashback.

It said another two weeks for me but was delivered yesterday. YMMV. Call or chat with dell to get compensation. I'm getting $189 refunded :).

10th gen has double the threads (16 vs 8) if you work with multithreaded applications. it is also clocked a bit higher (comparing 9700K to 10700K, for example)

Infinitely better than most of the garbage Dell/Alienware fake "deals" that get posted on this site.

The i7-10700 made the top of the "most disappointing processors" list this year. The i5-10600K is faster out of the box and when overclocked can reach the same performance as an i9-10900. All for $30...

The 10th gen i7 and i9 are also limited in supply right now and selling over msrp. Might not last long, but take that into account today as well. Case is ugly imo too

I have had an ABS PC for about 3 1/2 years and it has been reliable. It still runs without any issues. However, for the price and what it offers, I would pass on this. For $1400, you can do...

At this price, you’re awfully close to prebuilts like the NZXT streaming PC. Sure, with shipping it’ll be a bit more, but you at least know what each part is. Building a PC is insanely easy to do...

It's kind of a running joke that every PC deal has people pop up and start going on about building your own PC. And we've all pretty much been there and done that.. but if it is significantly cheaper...

Dell.com with $240 in amex offers If you remove the Amex offers the R11 is still less.
Microcenter builds PCs if you give them parts... or do you have you have to buy all the parts from them? If the former... any other businesses do this? MC isn't in my state.
