I have the I7/1660ti/8mb version of this with the 120 mhz screen and am extremely happy with it. IMO the screen looks great. I bought it in person and it was one of the main reasons I chose it.

Seems like a good deal. Can add 8gb ram for cheap and you have a pretty good setup for gaming. Thermals seem well made with enough vents and intake.

The GPU will not limit the capabilities of the CPU. The opposite can be problematic, not this. Not saying this is a good laptop, just saying your reasoning is flawed.

Well there's hp omen with 1660ti but of course much higher price. You can get same model with 300nits 100% srgb screen from Lenovo store but price is much higher.
