This will not be able to run the switch in tv mode with the official dock. Only charging and third party docks. The official Switch dock checks for a 45 watt peak output profile before it will...

Looks like you already got a few responses but the point I was trying to make is the wattage listed isn't the USB-C PD wattage. For me, I need at least 36W to charge my Dell laptop via USB-C so this...

Some dual output chargers like this allow for the full wattage when only one thing is plugged in, so 49.5W (though it’d be stepped down to 45W).

Oh interesting. I had bought an anker in 2018 and it was 30W. I just assumed these small chargers only put out 30W. I'm guessing you would need more than 30W for faster charging of laptops or active...

Most laptops require 45W to charge while in use, though 30W works while they’re sleeping, and might stop the battery from getting any lower while in use. This one does 65W when one device is plugged...

Anyone know if this is good for a Nintendo Switch? I could use a second charger that will also work for my iPhone (already have C to lightning cables).
Post #139164968 added 07-28-2020 7:27 PM by MaterDei in Deal Talk
To clear up any confusion, swipe to the second photo and it clearly states that USB-C is 30w. Looks like a good deal regardless. Thanks, OP.
