According to CCC, this is the lowest price, seems like a good deal for the 3200, it is worth the few bucks more,

Back when DDR4 was new, this wasn’t that slow. I remember getting 2133 with an i7-6700K and was great. Still is great.

Why even bother linking the 2400mhz if the 3200mhz is only ~$7 more?

>2400 holy crap, I didn't know they made DDR4 that slow.

And most Corsair RAM runs at 2133 spd speed with Ryzen CPU unless you enable XMP. It’s ridiculous.

Almost all DDR4 RAM runs at 2133 or 2400 PERIOD regardless of CPU unless you enable XMP.......

Not true at all. Plenty of RAM on my MSI B450m mobo list that runs above those speeds without needing to enable XMP. I have two Samsung 8 GB sticks that don’t have the whole versioning thing that...

Not a great deal. This is average to above average prices for RAM now. Here are two cheaper and faster kits I found in like two minutes. ...

I have nothing against XMP. I have everything against RAM that can only run near advertised speeds with an OC, and also annoyed at RAM manufactures who make different versions of the same model of...

Wait, why did you buy a non-K chip?

I updated my bios early July. I wish an update would have helped. Tried a few different PC components, swapped GPUs, Clean installs, etc. ended up just needing to change the RAM.

You can blame JEDEC, who sets the standards. When was the last time you updated your BIOS? Ryzen, being a new platform, suffered from these sorts of issues but they've largely been fixed through...

Just FYI if you are running a Ryzen CPU I would recommend staying away from Corsair. Corsair is optimized for Intel, and usually you can’t get the advertised or near advertised speeds with a Ryzen...
