Note that B&H do charge tax unless you use their Payboo card.

I’m in the same boat actually. Sandisk’s quality has dipped over the years as I’ve had even high end and verified legit Sandisk cards die over the years with light use. Samsung seems to be better at...

I live in Mississippi and they do charge tax on all my orders from them now. And because I don’t use their PayBoo card.

Not necessarily true. I also just got the Eufy 2k and have it recording to my home server 24/7 over wifi using iSpy software for free. I just put an SD card in it too for redundancy and both record...

So when u put the card into the Wyze cam (I have the V2) and it will record 24/7 over and over onto the card? Or does it just record longer than 12 seconds for the motion detection or sound detection?

Any “high endurance” SD card is supposed to be better than regular cards. This is because high endurance cards are made to support continued write like those in video monitoring and dashcam usage. ...

Hmm..still not charging for me? Didn’t go all the way through but logged into my account and based on my zip code not charging tax.

FWIW I have same card in my car (dashcam) for 2.5 years and no issues so far 🤞

You are wasting your time with most of these folks. Reason, logic, data... is meaningless to them. They will still thumbs up this deal as if it was a new car for free. Clueless!

It depends on how you configure your WyzeCam. Mine records continuous 24 hours. I do use high endurance card for WyzeCam.

based on your actual experience with both samsung and sandisk, or something else?
Post #139542134 added 08-11-2020 7:08 PM by DJ Dale in Deal Talk
If you get in a major wreck a regular card may likely not handle the shock from the impact. Thats where a high endurance card comes into play. If you think a regular card will suffice, you are...

I've had the Samsung 128hE card and I'm satisfied with the quality... 5y warranty iirc.. whereas you get 1-2 with general use cards. Still shitty high speed tailgating drivers out there even if you...

The description does say “shockproof”. Aren’t all flash SD cards shock proof? I though the endurance was just for the continuous write and rewrite abilities?
according to specs, for the 64GB version, samsung is rated at 26,280 hours vs. sandisk at 5,000 hours. probably not significant for dash cam users (unless you are a trucker who drives all day) but...

30,000 hours + 5 year warranty vs. samsung's 26,280 hours + 3 year warranty. good numbers on the MAX endurance but it costs $25 (samsung is $17). at this point, it might be worth it to upgrade...

Maybe one of us is misreading some info, but any SD card is capable of handling WAY more impact shock/vibration than a car accident can produce. For example, a regular Sandisk card is rated for 500...

Post #139534538 added 08-11-2020 1:23 PM by tofu. in Deal Talk
Why? All that matters is the warranty, which is 2 years. In 2 years time these sub 256gb microsd cards will be dirt cheap.

Western Digital's store has it for the same price. I just bought the 128GB from them early this morning before this was posted. They also have the Max Endurance which is a bit more expensive.
