By IP line, do you mean an Ethernet line? If that's what you have, then this shouldn't work for it based on the conversations about BNC. You'll want to find something with PoE (power over Ethernet).

Running the cables is a pain and limits where you can place the cameras. I think it's worth a little more money to save that hassle and buy a wifi system.

Sure you can try to reuse your old cables, but i had to replace old ones few time as clients was complaining about video quality. After replacement video was crystal clear.
