Also you wouldn't be able to get both 4K@60Hz and SuperSpeed (5Gbps) data rate at the same time - or 2x4K60 - through a single USB-C connection. At least on a Mac, without using Thunderbolt.

It most definitely will not work. You can look up the distance between the USB-C ports of MacBook Pros because they're all the same. Something around ~0.7cm. The 13" Yoga 730 has a much larger gap...
