Is this still available? Can you really get a 75” q90t for $2340?
Post #141702818 added 10-30-2020 10:31 AM by inquisitive in Deal Talk
I meant recommending getting the x950h over the x900h, not the q90t. I would prefer the q90t the most. As far as price drop, hard to tell atm.

Like Materialism said, you can buy the Hisense H9G at half the cost and get almost the same HDR performance as the Samsung Q90T
Post #141504224 added 10-24-2020 5:21 AM by winb83 in Deal Talk
The Hisense H9G doesn't have any HDMI 2.1 ports on it so that limits the ability to take an input at more than 60Hz. The real problem is we're in the timeframe where HDMI 2.1 is still newish and...

The last time I got something from BuyDig that had the "Rewards" thing I thought it would be one of those PrePaid debit cards but apparently they just put the money right back on whatever card you...

Costco ever sold the Q90T models? Warranty is one another thing i would like to check.
Post #141491015 added 10-23-2020 12:49 PM by Materialism in Deal Talk
the hisense h9g would still give this a run for its money at almost HALF the price. not apples to apples but think about how the marginal utility of the extra features. i know you can keep...

Well, that’s certainly true for 75” (77” LG CX is too expensive). But 55” and 65” are pretty much similarly priced. Next week’s Buydig sale gets the 65” within $50 I think. So unless one absolutely...

Vizio's 55" OLED is currently $1300. I believe RTINGS also released their review as of today. They both have tradeoffs so make sure you guys check out the comparison.

At this point in the year you’re better off waiting for next years model which will likely be fully loaded with HDMI 2.1 ports. These cut down models like this are just half measures.

Most people cannot tell the difference between HDR10+ and DV. The differences are minimal.

I feel like we’re a good ways out from having multiple 2.1 sources, but even then, what’s the downside of using a receiver to manage them? I’ve just always had a receiver managing everything so I...

Similar situation. You recommend sony 950h over this q90? That is the way I've been leaning. You mention, if you mention "if you can wait for the 950h". Have you heard that the price on the 950h...

No VRR, ATSC 3.0, HDMI 2.1, Gsync or Freesync makes it a hard to thumb up deal.

Yes, the Hisense H9G uses a native 120Hz panel. But it cannot properly display 120Hz signals; therefore, it will only allow for 60Hz gaming.

Anyone in this thread in the market for an LCD-based TV from Samsung will feel silly for waiting to buy. QLED is still their flagship for a couple more years, but as they work towards QOLED or uLED,...

Outside of having 1 HDMI 2.1 port it's inferior to the TV of last year at the same level. The specs were reduced.

Not a good price. With me edu email I get better price. 1170 for 55" 1710 for 65". If you have perks at work that is even better as you get cash back.

Q90T for me hands down, unless you have to have Dolby Vision. But they're not really in the same ballpark price wise. I can't justify the price diff. between the two for the 75" so I went with the...

Comparing them at Costco, the 80T is definitely a better picture. So I figure the 90T would be better. For the price, it’s 85” Sony vs 75” Samsung
