FYI, even if they are, you can get rubber laces that turn every shoe into a slip on. Perfect for kids not ready for laces and super cheap. Opens a lot more options for shoes.

Not what I meant since yes there is no special shoe etc that only boys or girls can use. However, to be fair in the 2000s I think both sexes shoes should be marked down not just boys!!
