I have the 1.5ah battery and it worked for 8 mins in circular saw. Upgraded to a 3.0ah and now can get 25 mins.

That's a great starter pack and the beauty is that the Ryobi line is endless. The battery and charger are definitely weak but if you only need these once in a while then you're good to go.

These are the bottom of the barrel low end of Ryobi's tools, battery and charger. Unless you really need some mediocre tools right now, set some Ryobi deal alerts and then wait closer to Black...

I got the saw a few months ago, it only stalled when I jammed wood between blade and guard. Super light weight, and so easy to pull out and use. Quick work of 2x4's (if you're only making a few cuts...

Offtop, but... Based on HD BF ad there is tons of tools on sale, but we are not gonna get 4Ah HP batteries on sale, nor we had it this whole year. Exactly when I need them :(
Post #141622895 added 10-28-2020 12:37 PM by avocet in Deal Talk
Yeah that’s likely exactly what it is. Also since the drill description does not mention brushless I expect it’s not.

Hard to say, you know... Based on fact that last year deals - like every third month - was $54.99 for double 4Ah pack, not good at all. Double 4Ah still in some stores for $100 +/- few, so after all...
