The base router is good, but it's not on sale. The mini router is a tiny POS that is sold on ebay for 20 bucks. IT's the size of a coaster. You're not getting range, speed, or value from it.

The main CPU in Broadcom routers doesn't really matter for as much for connections and speed. Its more reliant on the Radio SoC which is a single 1.5Ghz A7 arm core.
