I have the 9700K, my 6 Cores range from 40.0 C-30.0C on idle and can peak up to 50.0C when I'm gaming. I might want to overclock sometime on the future but still unsure about that.

As long as you are not hitting the temp ceiling and causing thermal throttling, you're good. Everything else is gravy. So $100 for cooler temps may not be needed if you are not approaching maximum...
