fuses and circuit breakers should be protecting the electronics... and the dead battery would absorb the shock.. should be fine for a jump

I'm not sure it will absorb enough for it to drop to under 15, might depend of how bad it has discharged. I think they should've added a voltage regulator to avoid unsafe output voltages

I am a used car dealer and this started ever car i have tried with no problem. I have started 5 cars so far and the battery is at 85%. Time will tell how long it lasts.

There is a screen on the cable which has a built in voltmeter in it. Most don't have this. It at least lets you know if your battery is actually low.
