Instincts were right. Screen stopped working a few days after install with less than 2 hours of view time. Had to return it. Disappointed in this one folks...

Sort of a funny quirk, but you have to be actively streaming something to adjust picture/video settings. If you try to adjust settings while on a menu/still image, it greys out most of the options. ...

Yeah that is odd. What i meant is check the settings within the app, i.e. general settings, and see if there is anything there in regards to video settings

Thanks for the comment. Yeah I have checked the youtube settings if you mean within the video - and it it is set to HD. Not too sure what you mean about within the app itself - I imagine its setting...

Are you checking the settings in the youtube app, as well as the hd settings within the video? It sounds like it could also be a poor internet connection
