The C7 is miles better than the smarthings gen 2. Local processing is way quicker than then depending on a cloud server that was often having issues with smarthings.

It doesn't touch HA's flexibility, versitility, control. You name it. Way less steep of a learning curve though. You can run zigbee/z-wave on HA. Hell you can prob run Hubitat on HA.
