The C7 is miles better than the smarthings gen 2. Local processing is way quicker than then depending on a cloud server that was often having issues with smarthings.

No, Samsung has gotten out of the hardware business. They have gone to cloud only service with the V3 hub. They're just going to license out the name to other manufacturers.

It doesn't touch HA's flexibility, versitility, control. You name it. Way less steep of a learning curve though. You can run zigbee/z-wave on HA. Hell you can prob run Hubitat on HA.
