I had this and gave it to my neighbor. I had bought this for $70 when sears was still around and it vibrates like hell. This is a bad product. My neighbor ended up discarding it too.

Honda trimmers are the heaviest weighing 14 plus lbs, as they are 4 stroke. In my opinion too heavy for most people. That's why they are not popular and the reason I didn't mention it.

Because most battery powered string trimmers aren't powerful enough to perform quality edging. That may change soon though with the recent improvements in batteries.

Echo and Stihl recommend 89 Octane. Most pros use 93 Octane. Listen to the Pros on LAWNSITE and you will switch to 93 Octane.

Had similar issues with my ryobi that is being replaced. Ran like crap the first year. Part of the problem was the primer bulb. Replaced that and the fuel lines and everything was good.
