I've had mine for about a month. Performance is very good. Weight is great. Out of box quality is surprisingly good. Time will tell if it holds up but there is no indication that it won't.

The ssd may not have seated properly?
If this is your second ssd? check "Disk Management" utility on Windows to see if it appears there.
If not, then try to re-seat it.

You probably have to go to disk management in windows and make a create a new volume, alot of ssd comes unformatted.

If you want quality video it’s always best to go with a separate camera as most laptops have crappy built in cameras anyway aside from recent MacBooks being adequate.
