I use 8'x3.5" OD ABS pipe to mount my feeders 6' above ground. Only 2 squirrels in 20 years have been able to climb it. Spraying it with silicon spray stopped them.

As a former wild bird store owner, this seed is not very good. You should avoid seed mixes that contain milo. Birds do not eat milo.

Just an FYI that Costco seems to stock 20# bags of Wagner seeds for roughly $7. Not sure if it's regional or not but I do find them fairly consistently in the SW US region.
