I'm confused. Does it hold 1 piece rods? 8 3/4 makes me think so. My largest rods are 8.2 ft.

Yes! Most of the time I use it as prep for a day on the water. Then transporting between the house, car, and boat/stream. Keeps me super organized and able to enjoy the time on the water
