I don't understand, what is wrong with your MS4000, your current keyboard? Everything you wrote sold me on that one, rather than the one you posted.

Been using nothing but MS ergonomic kbs and this intrigued me but below comment from Amazon made it clear that it's really not an ergonomic keyboard. "There is also no tenting to raise the wrist...

Back at you on silly statement. I am on a computer (work/home) 12+ hours a day and I would never consider a wired one. I also would not consider dial up, a 14" primary monitor for my desktop, or...

Silly statement about wired, they each have their place. Serious gamers do not typically use a wireless keyboard due to response time, and a lot people don't want to deal with charging or replacing...

Saw that article and many more. Kinesis Edge is pricier and requires more money for tent/tilt kit and numpad. But Kinesis seems the market leader in this segment so long term support may be better.

Ugh, I suffer from the "next big thing"-itis. :D Seriously I'm always looking to up my productivity since I'm a programmer. Macros could speed up my typing. Split keyboard could be even more...

There are some strange things about the keyboard like the Fn key where the Win key should belong but I heard you can basically remap any key. Cherry switches, in general, seem to be lauded in most...

That is an absurdly high price for a non-wireless keyboard. I have the MS 4000 as well and for the same price, I can move it around and away from my computer if I want. I am not knocking the deal,...

Stepped caps lock key is the way. Why isn't that standard. Is there some downside? MS 4000 has a small step, tweaked due to the curve of the keys.

I use Kinesis Freestyle Pro that has the same Cherry MX Brown swtich. I like the layout that has no numpad, so I can save a lot of travel accessing my trackball using my right hand.

I've been using a MS Ergonomic Natural 4000 Keyboard at home for years. Before that I had the IBM M keyboard with clickety-clackety sound. It was louder than the loudest Cherry MX Blue switches. I...

I bought and returned this keyboard. I had 2 problems: 1. Macros didn't quite work. Ctrl W or Ctrl F4 would not work. 2. Cherry switches are bad nowadays. They are scratchy. Someone explained...

Lemme guess, the software doesn't work with linux? Also an amazon review complained about warranty. Manufacturer apparently doesn't even respond if you have issues.

There was a review on Youtube, about the only legit review, that discussed the company response to an issue which was bad. So it looks like it's a small growing company which can be a concern for...

I’ve had this keyboard for about 2 months and I love it so far. It’s seems to be sturdy and well made. No deck flex or wobbly keys. I went with the brown switches and have been happy with my...

I love the ms sculpt keyboard, I like the raised palm rest and short travel keys. I don't use the keypad so it makes it smaller and can be centered with the screens. Love the mouse too, but I already...

I don't disagree about the product selections, few sources of unbiased reviews these days. However the analysis and feature breakdown is helpful for making comparisons.

I bought one two weeks ago with the brown keys and love it. It takes a while to get used to after 20 years with the Microsoft 4000. I recommend using a typing tutor program. The biggest issue so far...

Volume knob? Backlit keys? I believe this keyboard has both. Definitely the big ass volume knob (multifuntion knob) stands out. Wireless is not there but I've found wireless to be unreliable in...

Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop USB Port Keyboard and Mouse Combo is an upgrade to Microsoft 4000. But it does have FN key, which loses dedicate volume control keys that I miss.

I ordered it directly from Cloud Nine. Initially, they didn't send me a shipping label, but they did once I mentioned the free return shipping on their website. Their support response is decent -...

Not that its a big deal imo in regards to the software thing. But, a small company unwilling to stand up to it's 2 year warranty doesn't sound like a small company worth giving a crap about.

I've been keeping half an eye out for a split style ergo for about 6 months now. These things were out of stock and in a lot of demand during the lockdown. I cannot say for this particular...

Wirecutter has an article about ergonomic keyboards. https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/comfortable-ergo-keyboard/ I use a right-hand mouse heavily, so I prefer a keyboard without a...
