Yea, these will be a little loud and annoying on pavement. I try to avoid using them for anything but trail running or hiking. The lugs will be gone within a couple months if you use them as casuals....

Lone Peak 4.5's have a little more cushion (25mm stack height vs 19mm for the King MT2) and weigh a little more (10.5oz vs. 8.7oz). The King MT2 is a little firmer and more responsive.

For sure. Just keep in mind that these particular Altras are designed for trails so the tread will wear faster on regular roads. Great shoes though.
