A very good point, but the way I see it Brother has the incentive to maintain the app as long as people keep buying the (likely very profitable) label tape.

It uses a lot of extra tape on each side. I had to learn the tricks like when you want ON and OFF labels you just print one label that says “ON OFF”

There is an option on all of the these machines to turn that off. It's a bit hidden in the app for this device. I can confirm this prints continuously if set up for that.
